Preparing your asset from Mecabricks
Head over to Mecabricks and make yourself an account if you do not already have one.
Find an asset that you like and open it in the online Editor.
Then go to the export menu as follows:

A new window will open, make sure to select the Collada .dae format as it includes textures.

This will give you a file that we can parse in Blender.
